Facilities

The Facilities Department oversees all capital improvement projects for both new and existing District facilities, as well as the maintenance and repair of our district's buildings and properties.

The District has approximately 1 million sq ft of building space, with a total landmass of 310 acres across all district property.

The Facilities Director is responsible for developing and implementing long- and short-term strategies that maximize the return on investment (ROI) of public dollars in alignment with the District’s educational and operational objectives. He works collaboratively with other community stakeholders, including building and health departments, as well as other partners, including safety personnel and energy service providers.

The Board of Education encourages community use of school facilities, but must ensure it doesn’t interfere with school activities or strain district finances. These specific regulations have been set to manage this use effectively.
