Student Services Collaborative
In the Spring of 2022, the Big Walnut Local Schools established the Student Services Collaborative, a support network for families of students with IEPs or 504 plans. At the time that the group was established, four primary goals were articulated:
- To discuss and advocate for the needs of our students
- To help families and the school district access additional resources
- To build a support network for families
- To provide a reminder to families that you are not alone
The Student Services Collaborative aims to hold monthly meetings on a variety of topics that are relevant to our families, often having identical meetings scheduled for the morning and the evening hours to accommodate different families' schedules.
We are currently working on our plans for a variety of meeting topics/sessions for the 2026-2027 school year. Those topics and the meeting dates will be posted on this site as soon as they are finalized later this summer.
