Transportation

DEPARTMENT INFORMATION

The District covers 109 square miles, and each day over 3,000 students are transported to our eight buildings, and 90 students are transported to non-public schools.

DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITY

Each day, district buses travel over 3,000 miles to safely transport students to and from school. In addition, buses transport students to and from athletic and other extracurricular events.
The Big Walnut Bus Garage is located at 117 N. Kintner Parkway in Sunbury and is staffed by three full-time mechanics to maintain and repair a fleet of 44 buses.
