2020-21 Amended Calendar
Dear Big Walnut Families,
On July 23, the Board of Education approved an amended calendar for 2020-21 to help us prepare for the unique school year that we are about to begin.
Back-to-School Schedule August 17-31 |
Dates | Attendees | Details |
August 17-21 | Staff Only | Staff training and preparation for health and safety measures and crisis remote learning |
August 24 | VLP 9th NEW 10th-12th | All 9th grade and NEW 10-12th grade students attend for Eagles’ First Flight orientation VLP: Scheduled in-person appointments to pick up materials and complete assessments; may be virtual if requested More information will be coming soon to these groups |
August 25 | Last Name A-F | All preschool-12th grade students with last names starting with A-F only attend (Preschool parents will receive additional information with specific times) |
August 26 | Last Name G-L | All preschool-12th grade students with last names starting with G-L only attend (Preschool parents will receive additional information with specific times) |
August 27 | Last Name M-R | All preschool-12th grade students with last names starting with M-R only attend (Preschool parents will receive additional information with specific times) |
August 28 | Last Name S-Z | All preschool-12th grade students with last names starting with S-Z only attend (Preschool parents will receive additional information with specific times) |
August 31 | ALL K-12th | All K-12th grade in-person students attend; VLP students begin online (Preschool parents will receive information with specific start day depending on group) |
