Recently we have had some questions come up regarding the Panorama surveys that are currently being administered in our district, and we wanted to provide our Big Walnut families with more information on how we use Panorama. The Panorama surveys that are given to students vary based on grade level. The surveys are divided into specific grade bands. The grade bands are as follows (Preschool-2, 3-6, 7-8 and 9-12). Students in each grade band are given the same questions. The survey is given one-on-one with an adult (Pk, K,1), whole group (2-4), or individually (5-12). This information is used to gather data on school culture, effort, teacher-student relationships, sense of belonging, school safety and supportive relationships. The results give us the opportunity to make improvements in the above areas.
