Welcome to the 2023-24 school year at Souders Elementary! This year we are excited to “Shoot for the Stars” at Souders. Our staff is eager to get the year underway and can’t wait to continue to inspire and guide our students on their journeys to be the best Eagle they can be. Each and every day we work to truly personalize instruction, engage students, and grow minds. Our staff are dedicated to this vision and we strive to make our building a place where both students and staff want to come to each and every day. We are excited to continue to make Souders a place where our students and their families feel supported, valued, and connected to one another. The strong, collaborative relationship between our students' amazing families and our dedicated staff is essential to the continued success of our students at Souders, helping them reach their full potential. About Amanda
Amanda is originally from the Kansas City, Missouri area. She attended the University of Missouri - Columbia, where she received her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and Education Specialist in Educational Leadership and Administration. Her husband’s career has taken her teaching career many places in the last seventeen years. She has taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and Behavioral Special Education in Missouri, Nevada, and Louisiana. She has been with Big Walnut since 2017 and at Souders all of those years. She and her husband and two girls live in Sunbury. Her two daughters also attend Big Walnut schools. She loves connecting with students, their families, and being a part of the school community her kids are a part of.
