About the Principal:
I grew up in Wooster, OH and had the unique opportunity to have over 1,000 teenagers live in my home as my parents ran a children's home. While in high school I participated in football, wrestling and track and held a variety of part-time jobs. After high school, I attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology Teaching. I completed my Masters of Science in Educational Administration through the University of Dayton in 2006.
I am now in my 19th year in education, 12th year of educational leadership and excited for my 4th year as the Principal at Big Walnut Middle School. Before my current position, I served as a Biology Teacher at Marion Harding High School and an Assistant Principal at HHS and BWMS. In 2003, I was married to my wife Amanda (a Big Walnut Graduate) and we have three children ages 12, 9, and 7 who attend school in the district. I really enjoy working with the students and staff within the Big Walnut Local Schools and strive for our #BWLS2020 Vision of Education: Personalize, Engage, Grow.
Mr. Josh Frame
